Introduction
MyLEI (“we”) is an official global LEI Registration Agent operating in India. We process and utilize personal data as described in this document.
We operate as an LEI Registration Agent and cooperate with Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF)-accredited Local Operating Units. We collect the data of legal entities when their representatives apply to obtain or renew a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) on our website. After receiving the application, we may request additional information by email or phone if required. We only collect data necessary to apply, renew, or update an LEI.
We process data such as a legal entity’s business name, registration number, legal address, address of headquarters, parent company information, name and surname of the representative, email address, authorization documents (Power of Attorney), phone number, and payment details. This data relates to legal entities and is generally not considered personal data under privacy laws. However, if data regarding individuals (representatives) falls under personal data definitions, this document describes how it is processed.
What personal data we collect
We collect personal data from individuals representing legal entities. Their name and contact information (email/phone number) will be stored in our databases. Data is collected when representatives apply on our website.
Purposes for which personal data is processed
We collect personal data of individuals representing legal entities to register, renew, and update LEI codes for legal entities.
Legal basis
The lawful basis for processing personal data is the fulfilment of the contract.
Direct marketing
We do not send emails for direct marketing purposes. Emails are used to provide reminders and maintain communication with clients.
Recipients
Personal data of individuals representing legal entities will not be publicly displayed.
Data subjects’ rights
Right to access. Individuals may access or receive information regarding their personal data.
Right to data portability. Individuals have the right to receive their personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to independently transmit it to a third party.
Right to erasure. Individuals have the right to request deletion of personal data if it is no longer necessary for related purposes.

Third Party Service Providers
We may use third party service providers to send personalized content by mail, email, or other channels. We also use providers such as Google to perform ads measurement services on our behalf.
Data storage and retention period
We store data and documents in accordance with GLEIF requirements. In the event of a dispute, personal data will be retained until an agreement is reached or until the claim due date expires. Data is stored in secure servers in the European Union.
